I have been betting on the web or at brick and mortar casinos for a lot of years. I have been taught, the fixation usually will grab a hold of you and you will not even notice it up until you are broke. Especially if you are on a run. I have been through many hundreds of clams in only a little period of time and still on occasion, I still go too far. It feels like you are just having fun up till you choose to track your squanderings and the guilt sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can likely win the money back" at length. It never ever works. Then you feel sick to your abdomen and the harder you attempt the quicker you relinquish.
When you observe that you are ahead, Remain Ahead! When you begin to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well only one more" over and over again, believe in me, this scheme RARELY ever operates. Say you are wagering on slots, have a pot set aside ahead of beginning your gambling. DO NOT exceed this threshold, no matter how tempting. If you happen to win, put the winnings in a separate cup. Don’t bet your winnings at any cost. Once you have gambled through your initial predetermined cutoff, stop. Back off, regardless if it’s on the web or at a brick and mortar gambling den, don’t stay at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there will be another day, other times. Clearly, this technique can function for any game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, 21 or any other casino game.
Remember, wagering should be FUN not burdensome, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If you can’t afford the loss, don’t ever start.
